Encyclopaedia of names and places from Tolkien’s Middle-earth stories. Not necessarily 100% accurate, and rather frowned on by Tolkien cognoscenti. But I happen to like it.
I seem to remember this was the most expensive book I’d ever bought (at the time). I’d saved up my pocket money for weeks and weeks until my Mum took me to ‘Botes’ in Kingston to get it. I was well chuffed.
I took it on holiday to Cornwall and consequently the cover is a bit tatty.
