About these Tolkien Fonts
I originally made Tolkienesque Regular to use on this website, and it turned out so nicely I made it available for sale here. I was delighted later on to discover it being used on the card game Hobbit Tales from the Green Dragon Inn by Cubicle 7.
A few years later I made a brand new version of the font (Tolkienesque New) which I re-drew from scratch with smoother outlines and that’s the font that you can see now on this site for all the headings and titles.
If you’re looking for a font that looks as though it had been written by the Professor himself, then ‘Tolkienesque’ might just fit the bill.
I have also made a couple of fonts inspired by the typography on the classic maps of Middle-earth by the legendary Pauline Baynes.
How do I buy these Tolkien Fonts?
You can buy the fonts by adding each one individually to your shopping cart by clicking the button that says ‘Add to Cart’. You should see a little pop-up window with the logo for Mike Afford Media – don’t worry, that’s me (I’m Mike)!
Don’t forget to have a look at the special offers at the bottom of the list – you can save up to HALF PRICE by choosing one of the bundles.
When you’re ready to pay, click ‘Checkout’ in your shopping cart. If you can’t see your shopping cart, click any of the grey buttons that say ‘View Cart’.
You’ll be asked to state if you are an EU (VAT registered) business – this is just for tax purposes. If you are outside the EU, then no tax is added. If you are inside the EU and you have a VAT number then the tax can be reverse charged (i.e. zero). If you are inside the EU, but NOT VAT registered, then tax will be added. (I don’t get to keep the tax by the way, it is returned to each country every quarter).
Click ‘Continue’ – you’ll then be asked for your name and email address, and given the option to pay by credit card, or PayPal. Once the transaction is completed, you’ll receive an email immediately with a link to download the files.
The email will come from SendOwl.com – so please make sure that emails from Sendowl.com aren’t getting flagged as spam. Check your ‘Junk’ folder just to be sure! If you haven’t received an email after an hour, then something has certainly gone wrong – usually a mistake has been made when entering the email address. If you have any problems at all, please contact me and I will sort it all out straight away!
